I can get this stuff at cost from my workplace... anyone have any pros/cons about this product?

I use that and wood stove pellets for my ferrets litter boxes.
I would think it would be uncomfortable to lay on for a snake but it's very obsorbant.

It's a product to use as bedding, cat, or dog litter... made out of pelleted recycled paper.

I love this stuff anf actually use it in my dogs litter box...yes my Chihuahua is litter trained.
Could you get it at cost for anyone else???

I've heard of allergies to the yesterdays news, both human and rodent. Care fresh seems to be the worst for allergies.
The bad part of using products like this is the dust. Rats have really sensitive respiratory systems, mice seem to be a bit more resistant.
Also newspaper doesnt have great absorption nor very good at knocking down odor.
