Calling All Members!!

Have you ever wanted your favorite snake or other herp immortalized in an avatar??? Well now's your chance! Snakes, lizards, frogs, turtles....bring 'em on!

It is time to update our outdated list of public avatars. And we want to use YOUR animals! So if you have any favorite pictures, poses, or whatever....please submit them simply by posting them in this thread.

Resizing is not necessary, as I'll be doing all the cropping and resizing myself. (Although if you already have an avatar-sized picture you like, feel free to submit it.) Just remember to keep posted images no wider than 800 pixels.

To keep from recieving an overwhelming number of pictures, I'd like to ask everyone to please submit no more than 2-3 pictures each. (For those of you who just can't decide which is your favorite.) And all pictures submitted must be photos that YOU have taken of animals you either currently own or have owned in the past.

This thread will remain open for five days, and then locked so I can "harvest" all the images.

DISCLAIMER: All images submitted in this thread are freely given and become the propery of BP.net to crop, edit and use as they see fit. Not all images submitted may get turned into avatars, but I will do my best. Images including watermarks of any kind will not be used for avatars. The rules and conditions set forth in this original post are subject to change without notice.

Too bad fish werent on that list, or I could really help you out .....is there some way to make it so only one person could use a certain avatar at once, sometimes I get a little confused reading threads where 3 or 4 users all have the same avatar LOL maybe Im just slow like that LMAO

Not any more. The wife made me get rid of my gator when he got his "adult voice". Plus he didn't like her. LOL. I could go over any time and interact but if she went near the pen, he charged, snapped, and growled. Kinda funny actually.

I no longer have any turtles. Used to have RES, snappers, and others but consolidated to snakes and a few lizards only.

Sometime in the future, we may do another set of random avatar submissions that are not herp related or not necessarily pets of your own, but for now we'll stick with honoring our own pets.
