    Exclamation My Escape Artist Python

I have a small one bedroom apartment and my 9 month old python escaped her cage. How can I get her to come out of hiding? I can't find her.

Never had an escapee yet, but I've heard you can put flour on the floor (in doorways I think) and they like to hug the walls. You can also, use food as bait. Hopefully someone who has more experience will answer better than I could. Maybe try to do a search, I'm sure there are tons of threads on this sort of thing.

    Re: My Escape Artist Python

Ok don't panic. Start looking in small tight warm places. Think tight you will be totaly suprised as to where these guys can fit even a 8 or 9 month old one. look under/in furniture. Any thing that is open look there. Move systematicly throung the house. If you still don't find it. Look under the fridge in and under the stove. Around raditors, under and behind dresser drawers. Look around computers they love the heat from the fans. Look in cubberds and so on. GO SLOW take your time they are well camoed and will not stick out like a sore thumb. Loook durning the day when they will be laid up sleeping and want be pron to move around.

At night if you dont find him/her Put crumpled news paper around the floors and sit with the lights off. if they move through the pape you will hear it. Try all that first befor you go throwing flower all over the place.

Hope that helps. Good luck and I really hope you find your buddy
