Good luck! This close to breeding season, you're not going to find someone with a breedable female that eats willing to part with it for that amount of cash... Well, maybe not an absolute thing... but I doubt it. Your best bet is to look in newspapers/petstores for people that don't want their BP anymore and luck out with a female that's 2 or 3 years or older.... But like I said... GL!

Thumbs up Re: breedable female please

If your willing to stretch your budget a little bit, Im willing to part with a 1800 gram virgin captive bred that eats rats every week. only $1500.00 and thats a bargain.

    Re: breedable female please

breedable females will be hard to come by this season. I've dealt with the same thing you did. I just got a 1200 gram female in the mail and would prefer she didn't breed this season.

    Maybe check out this ad:

    http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=32&de=437278

there's a 979g female for 200 plus shipping. She is within your price range, and although you won't be able to breed this year, you can really take the entire year and plan in more detail. Figure out exactly what you want, go to more shows, continue getting advice, etc. etc. I think she will be ready to go next year. If you don't get her, then I wish you the best of luck in buying a cheap breedable female from a reputable person. Or, as mentioned before, the newspaper and Craigslist.com is something i check on a daily basis for people giving things up. *maybe* you'll find someone who is in a situation and needs to get rid of a bp.

    Good luck

    Re: breedable female please

You can try Ballistic Morphs 720-872-2455 or 720-933-1963. They might have a female to size in your price range. I cannot say that you would be getting a CB, or even one that eats regularly, but at the last local expo they had a few in the 1700 - 2000 gram range between $300 - $500. Please don't take this as a recommendation, I know nothing about them. Only what I saw at the show....
