    Re: A Sphynx named Doorknob

i don't use it. my girlfriend put it on him once when we were outside in mississippi but i don't really like the idea of it, i figured he'd lick it a lot and it wouldn't end up good, so no sunscreen for him from me. they're just indoor cats so we never really have to think about it, he definitely got some color on our roadtrip though.
all this forum talking about the little guy got me curious what he was doing right now and of course he's in his bed. accidently woke him up. apparently he fell asleep hanging out of his bed.

I have been saving up for the right time to get one but it has never come!! How much are they going for these days and so you know of any breeders? I would gladly fly a few hours eachway to pick one up. Cute little guy

    Re: A Sphynx named Doorknob

i hear they are normally $1,200 for a kitten. even adults are normally $400-600.
we got lucky and a woman had bought him from a breeder and then i believe situation changed and she had to give him up. we were on a roadtrip to lousiana and had been there a couple days, saw him there, fell in love, they were trying to sell him for $500 but we had donated an iguana and a beardie her dad couldn't care for anymore and they gave us him for $400. I'm sure the price varies but from most breeders they are around $1,000. We were looking at prices on-line. I am positive they are worth it but I'm sure you can find a breeder on-line that home raises small litters.

random: he is so freaking cuddly/ sleepy today, he passed out with his head on the my mouse button while i was writing this and my cam is still hooked up so what the heck...
