    Breeding season...

Just a few more weeks for breeding season!
What do you boa fans have going on this season?

We're going to be pairing up this season:
    DH Ghost X Pastel
    DH Sunglow X Albino
Anery 66% Het Snow X Albino or DH Sunglow X Albino (What do you all think?)
Anery 66% Het Snow X Anery 66% Het Snow
Poss Super Salmon X Dubay Pastel
Poss Super Salmon X Dubay Pastel
    Poss Super Salmon X Hog

We may have a few more later in the season or we may just wait till next year. Next year will adding a few more Sunglow & Snow prospects as well as a Motley X Albino pairing for some Motley Het Albinos!

    Re: Breeding season...

Thanks Jo, I forgot to add that I also have a few normal BP's currently 1000-1100g+. They should be 1300g+ by November at the rate they're growing on small rats weekly. My male Pastel is already pushing 500g and should be over 700g by year end as well.

Hopefully, I'll have 1.3 or 1.4 Pastel X Normal BP's going at it along side our Boas.

If we're blessed with a few healthy clutches, I'm not planning selling any of these babies. We may just sell the normal males and we'll keep all the Pastels and females for future projects consisting of Supers and Bees and others.

What do you have planned for this season?

    Re: Breeding season...

I'm going to pair up my dumerils boas, and my pair of surinam BCC.. and my albino stripe cali king x normal cali king.

ssscales.. if you know of any good articles about breeding either of the boa species.. I need some help, I have never bred boas before. I'm a bit clueless.

Let me have your email address and I'll go ahead and email you a care sheet we wrote about Boas, I think we also have one on Dumerils as well. It's got the usual care requirements, but we also go into some basics on breeding and establishing babies.
