Re: Just walked in the door...

Holy crapola!!! I am going to be cropping photos for weeks at the rate I'm going! Kevin went wingnut with the camera while we were in FL, so it's photo-a-go-go here at the moment.

In the mean time, I just wanted to say what a fantabulous time I had getting to spend some quality (albeit far too short) time with some of you guys & gals!

Judy & Robin - it was such a blast getting to do extended photo ops with a bunch of the new morphs...it's always a thrill to share these snakes with fellow herpers who really appreciate and enjoy them, and you ladies were no exception!!!

Jamie...you're a riot!!! I'm so glad we finally got the op to meet in person, after a couple of years of e-mails & then some! And here's a little tip for you - try alternating water between your alcoholic beverages...you'll likely feel a lot better the next morning. Or just end up peeing a whole lot...whatever!

Vaughn - I'm convinced you're a ninja in disguise (a ninja ninja?). You're an expert at sneaking up to the table when I least expect it!!! I felt like I spent most of the weekend saying to myself "whoa, there's Vaughn...how'd he DO that???" You gotta teach me that trick sometime.

Ken, Evan, Nate...I feel like we barely (by comparison) got to speak to each other over the weekend - ugh!!! It was wonderful to put some faces with names & get to chat a little bit - hopefully we can do more catching up next time around.

Adam. Yeah. What happens in Daytona...well, you know. And stay out of my PHONE!!!!

    So, who's coming to Tinley?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!??

Back to photos...maybe once I'm done with those, I can take some of the new morphs that hatched while we were gone. But I guess they'll have to wait in the mean time...

Kara, you were such a sweetie to spend that time with us and spoil us rotten! It was a blast! As fun as it was to play with those gorgeous babies, I think I most enjoyed just hanging out Saturday night and getting to know Kara the person, rather than Kara of NERD!

Still don't understand why you didn't just leave it with my edit in place ... it was accurate.

It was great to meet you as well, and I also feel bad that we didn't have a little more time to talk. There was some blonde chick with a BP.NET polo shirt at your booth when I came by to chat.... so I just checked out all the cool snakes... (axanthic bees.... mmmmmmm) and thought I'd catch up with you later... and never quite did.

Next year.... or Chicago... for sure!

HEY! I resemble that remark! Darn, Ken, you should have butted right in and said something! I didn't even know you were there! (Although chances are I was totally blinded by the reflections off those snakes!)

Kara, it was SUCH a blast! And as awesome as the experience with the snakes was...getting to know YOU was even better than that! I can't wait until our next opportunity!
