Re: Big Scare! (blood python pics)

So the snakes didn't actually breed physically???

That's a nice blood python. I would get one but they look too much for me to handle, especially when they are big

Re: Big Scare! (blood python pics)

It would seem unlikely- even though they are different, if you can get some of those crazy hybrids to breed- a blood and a ball doesnt seem so far fetched.
I love bloods, and would love to have one. though, it will be atleast a year or two away... most likely 3. I want a big snake but not in length. :3

Maybe I was misinformed... how big is my baby Kali going to get?

@ Smulkin: LoL thats funny. I only chose that name to try and keep my "K" 4 letter naming convention.

They can get very heavy. I've seen one that 3 people needed to hold because it was so heavy.

Females average 4-6 feet and can exceed 30 pounds.

It sounds like you didn't do much research before getting her. Check the NERD caresheet on newenglandreptile.com

Do you remember who you bought it from? Some breeders will tell you anything to sell you a snake.

    found the caresheet for you.

No, it sounds like you didn't do too much research, I was initially worried about that- considering bloods don't handle 'mistakes' very well. Go look up the caresheets and read all you can and make sure you get your temps exact. If you have a glass tank- screw it and get a tub it will make things 10 times easier for you.
