    Incubator?

Hi I was wondering where in the incubator to place the fan? The incubator is like Cueballs. It is an apartment sized refridge turned into an incubator. Thank you.

I will take some better pictures for you this evening. This works great for a small number of clutches and is easy to make.

There are a couple of tricks you need to know about the fan. I would use a small fan intended for use with a computer. These will require an adapter to convert to your home 110 volt electrical system unless you can find one that will plug directly into 110. I have heard that Radio Shack might offer this type. The other thing you need to know about the fan is that it requires a couple of inches of air space behind the fan to work properly. So if you are going to mount to the top of your incubator you will need to make a spacer.

About the plexiglass. I would use two sheets. One on the outside and one on the inside of the door. The air space between them will serve as an insulator and reduce the temp fluctuation. Seal the inside sheet with silicone.

    I hope this helps

    Re: Incubator?

i would try and hang it from the top (heat rises) so this would circulate the warmer air and humidity. the temps and humidity will be consistent. the cpu fans are plenty to move a little air in a small bator.

    brad, posts some bator pics.
