    Retained Shed ..

When I got my little boy he had a few tiny pieces of retained shed on the top of his head which I was informed would come off on his next shed. He has now shed for the 1st time for me & they are still there..

How can I get them off without stressing him ?

    Cheers Guys

Very gently take a wet paper towel and start from the front of the area where the retained shed is and go towards the end.If the snake seems stressed stop and give it a day as he might remove it himself.

    Re: Retained Shed ..

we had the same problem with our ball python and we were told to soak him in the bath tub or a big plastic tub and then once u take him out to just gently rub the spot with a wet finger like ur trying to "roll" the skin off. it work really well!
