Re: Price you payed for your NORMAL BP...
We're paying $85 at a local pet store for ours. We don't know the sex yet, but the snake lady there is going to probe it before us before we bring it home. For our first, I'm more than willing to pay a bit extra for one that's healthy, CB, and an established eater.

Re: Price you payed for your NORMAL BP...
I just bought my son's at a Reptile Show 3 weeks ago and only paid $15.00 for it.
Before you ask, ... YES it's a CB 2006 male, YES it was from a very reputable breeder/dealer that frequents this particular show, and YES it's eating quite well.
It (reptile show) was HIGHLY recommended to me from a friend in the snake hobby to buy from a Reptile Show rather than buy one a chain pet store. I have to agree after having experienced this first hand. I also HIGHLY recommend to you folks as well. Do your home work and research where the next Reptile Show is in your area and pay them a visit. You'll be amazed at the mark-up on Reptiles & Amphibians.

Re: Price you payed for your NORMAL BP...
I paid $150 for a nice, captive bred, well-started female hatchling from 8 Ball Pythons. With that Adam also threw in about 50-60 rats pinks and pups. I bought her in September and didn't need to get new feeders for her for quite some time. In fact, I've had her nearly year and I've only had to buy feeders one time (also from Adam). I'm due to get some more rats from him in the next week or so.

Re: Price you payed for your NORMAL BP...
"All of my normal are either from co-dom breedlings or normals out of het breedings. Some are possible het for various morphs but I just sell them off as normals, nice little bonus! The simplistic setup has a water dish, hide box, 10gal, 10gal top, a heat source, and eco-earth substrate. Everything would be $150, I have many expensive morphs and don't usually allow people into my home. I would however bring the offspring inside the 10gal enclosure that it currently lives in."
I am looking to get my first snake, and I'm not at all interested in breeding in the future...Is this a good deal? Or should I keep looking? This is, by the way, some correspondence that I've had with a local breeder here in Columbus, Ohio. Thanks!!!
