I hate to correct you, but it was not just limited to Twinkies, but rather to the deliciousness of ALL snack cakes! Bigotry against Ho-Hos, Ding Dongs and Moon Pies is not ok with me!!

To try and give you a serious answer to what I believe you were asking.... To find affordable, healthy BP's that you would like to have as pets:

    1. Look for herp shows in your local area. Even if they are a long drive away, they're worth the trip for the sheer fun of getting up close and personal with so many different, awesome animals and vendors. Talk to the BP vendors there...look for those who are open and confident and willing to share their contact info...someone you can look in the eye and feel you can trust. And of course, check out their animals, which should be healthy, with bright eyes, shiney scales and thick bodies. If you see signs of mites or illness in the animals of a particular vendor...stay far away!

    2. Look online for breeders. You may have to pay extra for shipping, but if you know you're getting them from someone you can trust and go to for help at any time...it's well worth the little extra expense.

    3. Look for "normal" males. They are the least expensive of all BP's and are always looking for a good home!

    4. I highly recommend avoiding buying at a pet store, unless you should be so fortunate as to live near LLL or NERD. (California or New Hampshire) Even a really "great deal" at most any pet store can turn out to be way more trouble and expense than you bargained for because the animal may be sick and/or not acclimated to captivity.

    Re: wanted:cheap ball pythons

Getting ball pythons, or any snake shipped for that matter ain't cheap either.......expect to pay atleast $50, and many times, the snake is cheaper than shipping!!! Plus, cheaper isn't always "better".......and plus, there is the cost of housing and heat for your snake.Even if you adopted your snake for no cost at a local shelter or from a surrender, the snake's equipment is still gonna cost ya something. If you're looking for a "deal", you may want to consider going to a reptile show.....I got Maximus there for $10..

Not to nit pick, but I shipped several snakes this week that were under $40 for FedEx priority overnight shipping ... it really depends ... And for whatever it's worth, I don't have any snakes for sale that cost less than the shipping .... ever.

You sell all of them for more than shipping... plus shipping? Or do you sell them local?

    I do both.

When I sell normal males that need to be shipped, it works out that my prices are more than the cost of shipping for the animal itself and then I also charge the cost of shipping?

    Re: wanted:cheap ball pythons

This is crazy in a couple of year's I'm going to be in position to breed super pastel's and albino's.I'd have to be crazy to just give them away ,If I were to give away albino's or sell them for 500 buck's what would stop me from selling my car's for peanut's too.Everything has it's value , If you can't afford something you stride to get it the best you can. That's how everything in life is why would aquireing expensive morph's be any different Jimmy.I've worked real hard this year to be able to purchase my snake's and I'm very proud of that.No begging on anything or complaining about price's here either I can buy it or I can't.I don't know guy's that's just me.
    Absolutely obsessed with ball pythons!
