Good luck in your quest for a python, but snakes are long term pets. If you want a keeper, then save your pennies for a few extra months and get one you can't take your eyes off.

THIS is most excellent advice. If you're patient, you'll get a snake you can really love...rather than just any ol' snake.

I have just been looking online and like 5,000.00 a snake for a pie is more than the average Joe can shell out. I hope to help friends and fellow reptile lovers reach their dreams of owning one of these great snakes at a real reasionable price. I don't mean to be skeptical, but why would you want to essentially give Piebalds away after making a substantial investment? I take it the one Ball Python you have in your collection is already a Piebald, or were you planning on buying adult Pieds and/or Hets to be able to breed in '07?

I am buying an adult het male and have a friend that has a het female I am buying off of him (his wife hates it can't stand snakes and want let him breed them). I on the other hand can breed them. It is a side project. But he bball4life declined so we'll see

Why would your friend buy a $1,000+ snake without getting the okay to breed from his wife? Anyway, good luck with that project!
