Rev. Bob escapes!????
I noticed about 9 am Tuppence the cat acting strange staring at a pile of books. About 11:30 Kelly was cleaning shed out of Bobs' tank only to find Bob gone!!! Poor Bob only got 1 ft. from his cage before being cornered. Back home and totally tee'd off!!!
Way to go Tuppence!!

I'm glad that you found him, and that Tuppence didn't decide to have a snack while you were out. Good kitty.

Bob was under a book and if the truth be known Tuppence is a coward. Bob has gotten big enough that the cat watches, but thats about it. Bob struck at me to show his displeasure at being cornered. I'm sure he had some traveling he wanted to do.

I'm hoping one of my 4 mini-lions can track down Sienna for me. I only hope it isn't Charlie though, he may harm her.

Just make sure you keep a close eye on the cats. Good luck finding your kid.

I wouldn't trust my cats anywhere near my snakes. I'm glad you have one that has less killer instincts. Shoot even my dogs have caught a vole or two, and a couple turtles. I love when my older dog tried to snap the flies, it's hysterical.
Good luck finding Sienna, Jen!!

Re: Rev. Bob escapes!????
Oh Jen you must be worried sick, I know I would be. Yesterday I went to check on the little BCI and he wasn't in either hide or in clear view. I nearly had heart failure till I realized the little poophead was just buried under his deep substrate. Dang snakes!
Hope you find pretty Sienna very quickly. Anything that looks far too small for her to have gotten into...check. I know folks that have found them in their shoes, behind computers, in bookcases, etc. We had a member here that lost two snakes. She left their tubs open and easily accessible and they showed up back in them. Maybe worth a try.

Re: Rev. Bob escapes!????
Yeah, I'm going insane. I've torn apart just about everything in the house trying to find her. She's so small, she's only about 2 months old so she can get under doors and just about anywhere. My husband wants to check underneath the fridge and the stove but he's afraid if he pulls them out and she's under there, he'll squash her. He's going to help me go through the closets better when he gets home.
3 of our cats won't do anything to her if they find her...they'll just observe. Shadow may pat at her tail with his paw, but only to see if she's real or not. I'm somewhat worried about Charlie...he has a strong prey drive when it comes to mice (one got out last week and he nabbed it and we had to chase him around the house trying to get it out of his mouth), so I don't know how he'd react to a small snake. He respects the big ones, but Sienna's little. I've been watching them all day, waiting to see if they spy something or hear something.
She's my first escapee.

Whew, I'm glad you found him, Nancy! I remember when I thought I lost Gomez, I thought I'd have a heart attack... then there he was curled up in a tub decoration I didn't realize he'd uses as a hide. But even so, I remember that panic!
I really hope you find her soon, Jen! I wish I had some kind of useful advice, but my fingers are crossed for you!
