Does anyone know anything about shipping reptiles internationally? I keep seeing exciting snakes on here, but I'm in Finland...

go to jaguarpython.com and email that guy... he's shipped tones of jags to the US and he's a very nice guy. i'm sure he'll answer your question if you email him.

I ship internationally ... it's not too difficult ... just more of a pain than anything else ... once you have your import/export permit, it's just a matter of filing CITES paperwork and waiting, waiting, waiting ... LOL.
Once you get er done a couple of times and get dialed in, it's a breeze.

I think that with the costs involved of shipping them via air cargo, plus all of the permits, health certs, etc ... it might be easier to just find them a good home there and start again here in the states ... BUT, there may be a cheaper way ... I would talk to the airlines and see if you can find one that will let you transport them as "pets" ... and then talk with US Fish and Wildlife about bringing CITES II animals into the country as "pets" ... I've never done it, but it might be a lot cheaper.
