    Smile New Hides

So Damen has gotten really big, he also says hello. Well i just put a bigger hide in his home and it is just a little bigger then the one he has now, now heres my thing he is still cramming himself in his small hide. Why is he doing this? He is shoving himself in his small hide to the point, half of his body is hanging out.. also i talked to a guy at a reptile store the other day and he told me that i should put some fake plants to help hide his drift wood, that it would help him become more comfortable out on it. Is this true?

    Thanks again

    p.s.
If ther is anyone who lives in sacramento there will be a reptile show at the convetion center on Sept. 9,10,11 i believe...

    Re: New Hides

im goin to the sacremento show. its the ninth and tenth. ill probably go on the 9th so i can pet the live alligator at noon! lol. check this website out. www.upscalereptiles.com. they got all the info on all northern reptile shows.

fake plants and driftwood would probably 'clutter' up the cage, giving it a 'tighter' feeling but you dont need it

Snakes likes to cram themselves into the smallest places possible. If he is still using his old hide then leave it in there for him.
