Severus is on his way!
Severus, the little BCI that Lynn (ladywhipple) kindly allowed us to adopt through her is finally coming home to us! He's in shipping right now for a scheduled 10:30 a.m. delivery tomorrow morning! We can't wait and have his enclosure all setup and waiting for his arrival tomorrow. Lots of juicy rats await his dining pleasure as well LOL.
Unfortunately Luke (our son and Sev's actual owner) won't see Sev for about a month as Luke is spending some wonderful time up in Canada this summer with my side of the family. Lots of emailed pics promised and I know Luke can't wait to meet Sev. A month on 104 acres of prime northern Ontario bushland on a clear as glass lake full of game fish is something no 14 year old young man should turn down though LOL.
Thanks again Lynn for the opportunity to make Sev our own. We promise to spoil him rotten and send pics over the years so you can watch him grow into a big beautiful adult male BCI.

Re: Severus is on his way!
Sounds like an awesome opportunity for your son. And he'll have a lifetime to enjoy Sev...so he shouldn't be TOO impatient. hehe....of course, that's a heck of a lot easier to say than to act out!

Re: Severus is on his way!
Thanks Christie! Sev is due here at 10:30 a.m. or thereabouts which means of course I will be on the balcony that faces our driveway, coffee cup in hand, parked in my chair by 6 a.m. watching anxiously for the hapless delivery man to pull in. At which point I will tear down the stairs and snatch the box out of his hands. (geesh I hope this time I remember to sign for the snake before I excitedly run off with it, letting the door slam in the driver's face...again)
This is of course normal behaviour right?

LOL...it was the opposite when Kisasa was delivered. The driver couldn't get that box into my hands fast enough, and booked outa here without asking me to sign a thing, or even asking me if it was supposed to be my box! Poor guy..."Live Harmless Reptile"....what did he think was gonna jump out at him?

Re: Severus is on his way!
Hey Judy you should have hollered after his fast retreating self...."yes those killer baby Ball Pythons will get youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, chew right outta their boxes and eat ya right up!" LOL
Oh you are moving Nancy? Just went through a move (actually a two staged sort of one) and it's so darn stressful! Best of luck and why are you painting...you have a son for that
