Feeding Question
I went to petco the other day to obtain food...for my newly aquired snake. *i am a first time owner, new to the snake scene.
My questions is this. I have a young bp and the lady at the store told me to feed it frozen fluffs aka the small frozen baby mice. She said that she buys them bulk from a place online but didnt tell me where... she said they were 30 cents a piece online as apose to 1.30 at the store. Can somone give me a site or a link to show me where i can purchase these? Thanks!

Re: Feeding Question
Probably rodentpro.com
fluff = fuzzy. Fuzzy mice are too small for a young bp. I'd go with a small or even medium mouse. You want the food item to be as big around as your snake's belly is at it's widest point.

Re: Feeding Question
Jon, even fresh hatchling ball pythons start out eating small mice. like shelby said, fuzzys would definatly be too small.
It is unlikely that you'll get your ball python to eat frozen / thawed rodents right away anyway, generally you need to get them on a good live feeding schedule then transition them to f/t.
