Ringnecks are easy to keep. At one time I had them breeding like crazy. I kept them in a 20 gallon aquarium with about 3 to 4 inches of topsoil. Add something from them to hide under, in and around. Add some fresh water. They were the first snake I ever kept. I fed mine earthworms one a week and they thrived. The most I ever had of those were in between 25 to 30, spead out over several aquariums of course. After they used to being handled, they stop musking too.
