    Re: nipped tail Pied

Besides all the above stated points - how much value (besides pet value) is a non-breedable pied male? Because in all likelyhood - I doubt seriously that kid will ever be able to produce offspring.

So, with that said - is he worth $1600 for his looks alone? As much as I want to own a pied myself - I'm also being practical. If I'm going to invest that much in an animal - I'd want it to breed. I know that he's less than a flawless animal - but he's still too highly priced for a pet with cool markings.

    Re: nipped tail Pied

I totally agree Robin. Without the equipment, he is useless as a breeder. $1600 is way to pricey for a pet. If you don't mind spending a little more for a cool looking snake pet, there are many other less expensive choices out there. And lets face it, people who are looking to invest that kinda money on a BP is definately lookin for a snake he can breed. Buying that guy would almost be the same as taking the 1600 to a casino and pullin' the lever all night......BOTH are an expensive gamble. Like emilio said..." for $400 more, you can get an albino"....
