    If it is the 11", you have to cut it on the dotted lines. The 3" and 4" inch tape you can cut straight across anywhere. What width of tape are you using?

    Any size flex can be cut to any length, you just have to not cut through the carbon(black part) if you do cut through the black just insulate is with some eletrical tape and you are good to go
