    Well if i were eating a mouse that small...id be hungry too.

    It looks to me that monty could use a bigger mouse, look at how wide he is, feed him a mouse about that big, just so that it leaves a small, little (but noticeable) lump

    Yes my other snakes are in vivs with aspen substrate so its a habit Monty has coconut bark substrate and feeds well out of his viv.

    I looked at those pics and thought that I should step him up from two large mice fuzzies, when I got him a few weeks ago I offered a adult mouse he run his head up and down it and would not take it, my rats have just had pups for feeding as my local reptile shop only sale mice in all sizes and adult rats, So do you think he could handle a fuzzie rat?

    A rat fuzzie would probably be a perfect sized meal for that snake. Give it a try. Maybe he'll like the flavor better.

    Creepy....I have a normal BP named Monty and the markings are stunningly similar...
