    Riddle, my pet shop baby

I posted about this guy last night. I took only a few pictures, because I wanted to get him into his new tub and comfortable. He's such a sweety, and I know he's going to clean up beautifully. I can't wait to see the colors under that old, old skin.

this little guy's fading on the top of his head amazes me. It's quite more vibrant in person, just as his colors.

His whole back is covered in scars. His belly's a bit burned too, but not too badly.

When he's more established, Ill get some nice full view pictures of him. I think with proper feeding, he'll go into shed in a few weeks. Then I'll really post some pictures! After quarantine, Ill post some of him next to some of my normal-colored BPs for comparison.

What a handsome boy! I hope that he gets better soon for you! Do you plan to have him looked over by your vet?

I was planning to, then they offered to bring him to their vet ( i was trying to haggle because they wanted $80, and he is going to need a vet visit etc etc) No whistling, no mites that I see, but I would still like to be sure! I expect all to go well, and i will be sure to let you all know!

    What a handsome/beautiful snakey!

I know what you mean about those vet bills....
I just now took a stool sample (the other ones dried up on me) in to the vet that I paid for almost 3 weeks ago!

Good Luck with nursing this poor chum back to health!
Pretend those scars are battle scars and your snake is really a hero who fought many battles and is now home to recover! (ok i guess I get carried away sometimes)

That's super nice! I like the light coloring and faded tri spot on the head. Glad he's in good hands now

Re: Riddle, my pet shop baby

I usually try to avoid picking up and touching the pythons I see at pet stores, but something just told me that I HAD to pick him up and check him out. He took a special place in my heart the second I held him, and I just fell head over heals in love with him. You know when you look into the crib and see your baby when he's sleeping? Yeah.. kinda like that
I almost cried when my boyfriend said we could buy him! ( i knew 99%that he was going to say no 1.) $80 to buy him and 2.) male) But he said okay because he was all beat up, and he liked how he took to me.

    im in LOVE!

Thanks for all your support guys
