    Guess what happened this weekend

My First clutch of the year hatched out........
I called this clutch my mystery clutch because It's from a WC female that I got at the end of last year that laid eggs while in quarantine....
I noticed that she was going through all the classic gravid poses but even with that little heads up, I still wasn't completly thinking it......At least not until she laid 6 perfect eggs on Feb 12...........

I took a couple quik photos before I put them in there own boxes so they can shed....... I'll take some more once they start eating regularly.....

And on top of that my WP/IJ Jungle Carpet Python Laid her eggs this weekend........14 eggs, I'm a little excited this will be my first time breeding WP/IJ Jungle Carpet Pythons

That first pic should be one of the nominees for the next BP of the Month!

They look big for newborn, but I'm sure that's because there's nothing in the picture to use as a point of refrence to tell relative size. What do they look like compared to say, a quarter? Of course, I'm a n00b, so I dont' know how big hatchlings are supposed to look...

Edit: What's that pinkish thing on the left side of the 4th picture?

The pinkish thing is the remnents of its egg yolk sac. They absorb everything inside of them but it take a little more time for some.
