D'Albert's Python?
I just saw a picture of this snake, and it's so gorgeous! Can anyone post a link for more information? Or even a good care sheet? I've never seen a snake so pretty...

I had a beautiful white-lipped, Midas.
Over the summer we went on vacation and when we returned he'd escaped ( Most "talkative" snake I ever kept
They are not an easy species to keep in terms of humidity v ventilation requirements - that much I can tell you offhand. If you google "white-lipped" as an alternate for d'alberts you may have more luck.
Let me keep digging.
(i think I still have some photos in my gallery actually)

Here's a couple. It's also commonly known as the White-lipped python. There was actually one of these for sale at the Reptile Show here in Columbus this past weekend. He definately liked his space. He kept facing towards anyone remotely near his cage and kept his neck tightly curved. But a gorgeous snake... and the attitude just made him all the more desireable. He had personality!
Anyway, hope these help!

Re: D'Albert's Python?
They are beautiful snakes. They are known for being aggressive, but can be tamed (I have held a few tame ones myself) there are two phases I am aware of.. the common gold phase, and the larger and typically more docile black phase. The body color is the difference in the two phases appearance-wise.

Re: D'Albert's Python?
Generalizing a temperment about a species of snake is a rookie mistake and to be taken lightly. If you do your research and I mean research not clicking on a couple links and call it good. It depends on what region you get these beauties from and whether they're wild caught or captive bred. There are soooo many variables to consider before you deem a species "aggressive". I know a few people who have these gorgeous snakes and they're as docile as it's cousin the ball python but then again I know ball pythons that would bite first and ask questions later but you don't see me labelling ball pythons as an aggressive snake or anyone else for that matter yet I guarantee you that if you have more than 3 or 4 ball pythons there is always that one who "has a bad attitude". So before you label a species with such a black and white temperament I'd do a bit more research.
