Re: How to become FedEx Certified to ship reptiles....
Sorry for the double post, but I also tried to join that FedEx InSight program and got this email
Ted,
I receive the email below stating you registered for a tracking solution
called Insight.
Sometimes our customer mistakenly register while looking for a
particular package.
Please reply back if you'd like me to approve Insight for your use.
Also was the new FedEx account number set up for personal reasons or
business.
Take care.
I should tell them business correct?

Its too late now. Your stuck paying for it unless you have a good rep to reverse the charges.
Needed to talk to someone in packaging to get a acct # to charge it. Mine was sent out last week First Priority over night. Got my passing email yesterday.

I am finally certified!! Took my over a month, but the majority of that wait (3+ weeks) was waiting to hear back from legal with the finalized paperwork.

THAT SUCKS!!!! I'm so sorry to hear that. You've been a great help to me in the process. It sounds like you don't have the most helpful rep?

Re: How to become FedEx Certified to ship reptiles....
I got some...for lack of better terms...incompetent fool...who said it was on its way to legal and I'd hear back soon. I e-mailed her several times over the course of the next couple weeks and left voicemails and got nothing. Finally went back to square one and they said there was no record of anything ever being sent to legal and that I needed to fax in my results (like everyone else) which I had never been asked to do before. The first person was just useless. So I faxed everything over last Friday, and now I'm impatiently waiting.
I still don't have a "rep", they just keep giving me the number for the account rep "pool" to call and leave voicemails. Its beyond frustrating. I'm about to resort to hand delivering snakes across the country instead.
