Difference in male and female ball pythons
I've been doing a lot of reading and talking about learning to pop (I recently learned to probe from my vet but forgot to ask her to show me popping). I've seen pics of male hemipenes but can't seem to find any decent pics of what you see when you pop a female. Does anyone have access to some good pics of males and female royals being popped at different ages so we can all learn what's what?
Thanks!

Ohhh great idea girl! Wish I could help with that, but now that you brought it up, maybe someone will have some pics.

Re: Difference in male and female ball pythons
Thanks Jeanne!
I found some good sites from different breeders with pics but most do seem to be of males, especially big breeder males so I got talking to Robin about it and decided to start a thread since I'm truly a bit clueless of what I'd be looking for in a female of any age or in a young male.

Re: Difference in male and female ball pythons
Well, as Jo well knows, when I tried popping Kashmire yesterday, I didn't see anything that looked like the male pictures I had seen, but that didn't mean I wasn't doing it right. So, I'd like to see what a female looks like to see if what I was seeing looked anything like that! LOL
