    Corn Snake Shed Cycle....

    QUESTION....

I've had my Corn snake for over a year now and he is about 4 1/2 feet long! I'd say full grown by now!
anyway when he sheds I find he turns white for about 1 - 2 days and his eyes go white and then a few days later he will have his shed!

Welll..... currently my corn snake has been white...not just a LITTLE white! I MEAN WHITE AS A FREAKING GHOST! IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS NOW!

Usually he is orange, red, yellow. I dont know exackly what kind he is but the vet said he was a mix.

Right now he is ALL white, his spots are usually orange, they are now PURPLE??? Some of his upper body is a light PINK and the rest is white! He looks kinda sick to me!

    Temps 80F - 93F
    Humidity 40%
    20 Gallon Tank
    One adult mouse everyweek

I've also noticed him spending a lot of time soaking in his water bowl and also drinks like crazy too!

anyone else ever have this problem???? and is he gonna shed someday???

    Tks Joni

    Re: Corn Snake Shed Cycle....

Sorry I don't have any direct corn experience. Unless it's a fully retained shed, but that seems unlikely. If you are truely concerned that there is a health problem, you might want to take him to the vet. Maybe try posting a picture.
