What is your source of heating?
I recently decided to remove the heat-lamp from Mr. Bojangles' tub, leaving only the UTH on one side, and I've noticed a vast improvement in my humidity, which is something I've been wrestling with for a short while now. I don't have to mist as often as I did before, which is great, and the humidity seems to stay quite constant. The only opening in the lid is on the opposite side of the UTH and waterbowl, which allows for the humidity to "cycle" through the length of the tub as opposed to just rising from its source (the waterbowl) and exiting the container directly above.
Anyway, I thought this would be a nice poll to have, so here goes.
1.0.0 Ball Python - "Mr. Bojangles"
1.0.0 Crested Gecko - "Zeppelin"

I heat my snake rooms to 82-84 and use 3" flexwatt heat tape for all of my hot spots at 92-94.

Space heater in the room and heat cable in the rack.....
Used to use heat lamps only though, when I had glass tanks.

Re: What is your source of heating?
I use one of those rolling, locking underbed boxes as an enclosure. The cool side is heated with a 2ft section of 11" flexwatt and controlled at 84 on my Herpstat 2. The warm side is a 1ft piece of 11" flexwatt set at 95. wOOt for no temp fluctuations I wuvers my Herpstat.
