Phoenix Reptile Expo hits this weekend!

    Phoenix Reptile Expo is back!
Now happening twice a year, the spring edition of the Phoenix Reptile Expo happens this weekend in Mesa, AZ! This fabulous show packs a punch and vendors from many states flock to it. Come see why thousands of attendees make this a not-to-miss show.

An auction on Saturday night benefits the Turtle and Tortoise Preservation Group (TTPG) (https://www.ttpg.org/) and USARK. Stick around for good times!

Be sure to visit our booth and snag a new axolotl shirt! James, Drew, and the PRE Crew do a phenomenal job. USARK thanks them for their support.

    Show schedule:
    April 20-21
Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm with auction at 6:00 pm
    Sunday: 11 am - 5 pm

Phoenix Reptile Expo details at www.phxreptileexpo.com and www.facebook.com/PhoenixReptileExpo.
    The Reptile Talks: 1st Symposium!
Have you heard about The Reptile Talks, which will be held in Anaheim in May? Speakers from all over the country will share their knowledge with attendees at this not-for-profit event. The Reptile Talks seeks to promote inclusion and provide content that benefits the entire hobby, not just one segment or another. The goal is to run the gamut of interests in the community.

On Saturday night, there will be a celebration of the life and impact of Bob Mailloux. This observance is open to everyone.

The Reptile Talks will donate all proceeds after operating expenses to USARK. On Saturday night, there will also be an auction for USARK that is open to the public, and donations from anyone are appreciated.

    See two promo/informational images below.

    International Herpetological Symposium
Registration is open! The first Symposium of Captive Propagation and Husbandry of Reptiles and Amphibians was held in June 1976. That evolved into what we know today as the International Herpetological Symposium (IHS). The 46th meeting of the IHS will be in Knoxville, Tennessee. The city is also home to Zoo Knoxville (IHS tour/banquet on June 21) and nearby herping in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Each year the IHS is held in a different location. Its purpose is to disseminate information and research pertaining to the natural history, conservation biology, captive management, and propagation of amphibians and reptiles. IHS also seeks to build a community open to all individuals interested in reptiles and amphibians.

See the IHS promo image below.
