Childrens Python eye looks odd

I have had my childrens python, Runa, for almost a year. She is the sweetest snake.
I just noticed her eyes are a little cloudy, not like when she in blue, and the one eye looks like there is some gunk there.
Does anyone know what this is? Should I be concerned?

Could it be stuck shed? The first thing I would do is try to gently remove it with a damp cloth. If that didn't work, I'd give her a humid hide and wait to see if it came off with her next shed. If that doesn't do it, I'd take her to the vet.

Agree with above post ^ ^ ^ and also, raise her humidity & give her a very humid hide A.S.A.P. Dehydration often results in buckled & stuck eye caps.

I do question if it is a stuck eye cap. I keep the humidity around 40%. And she shed a few weeks ago, this did show up till 2 or 3 days ago. I took a closer look at it this morning, it kinda seems like a scab.
That being said, I am putting her humid hide in the enclosure just in case.

My advice doesn't change. I'd still try to remove it, gently. Since it could be a scab, I'd probably use a Q-tip moistened with diluted betadine (1:10). If that doesn't work, see if it comes off on her next shed. At one year old, she's probably still shedding frequently. If it doesn't come off, or if it does but comes back, I'd take her to see a vet.

My local vet does do snakes, so I made an appointment for Thursday. With it so close to her eye, I do not feel comfortable trying to take it off unless it comess of with little force.
I did give her a humid hide just incase.

That's too low. I've had a (very similar) Aussie Spotted python for many years now- & she NEEDS (requires!) a humid hide to shed well.

Then I better bump mine up a bit because that's where my Children's humidity's been sitting at for weeks. If I recall, though, the Complete Children's Python says anything between 20 and 80% is fine.

I think that if you have a humid hide, it won't matter, but if you don't provide a humid hide, then 40% (overall) is too low- that's just from my experience, anyway.

Also, in the photos above, the OP is asking about the R eye, but the other one doesn't look totally round either, when I look closely. That suggests dehydration- that the eye cap is a bit sunken as a result. But it's hard to completely see what's going on, just from photos online, so I'm very glad they're planning to see the vet with her- that's the best call right now. From what I can tell, both eyes may have issues.
