If there's no regurgitation, & he's not making any more sounds & appears calm (resting or sleeping), I'd chalk this up to passing gas & stop worrying. Try not to disturb him when you peek in on him- snakes need to feel safe & secure while digesting.

Well, they can & do. And being a wide body* snake, BPs have occasionally surprised more than one keeper with the sound level.
(*think tuba versus flute, lol)

I’ve heard about 3 times in the last 10 years or more and I’ve never had less than 10 snakes …. So it’s maybe not that common but does occur and sound is extremely loud !!
