    Weird Zig Zag formation

I recently rescued a ball python from a bad situation, I've had him for a month now and the other day he made a weird zig zag shape with his body. Has anyone else experienced this?

For some reason I can't add a picture

Nice looking BP, & his posture is very normal for a snake.

    He's flaunting his ball python-ess.

Looks good to me... but I am far from an expert. That's nothing that would alarm me.

That is a very normal posture! Snakes adopt that posture when moving in a narrow space and it is a well-recognized form of snake locomotion called the "concertina motion". The snake at the top in this video is using the concertina motion:

@jillianwaechter- Snakes actually have different ways of moving forward & the "concertina" motion is just one of them....see why we love snakes?
