Just a funny story...
I just noticed something today that I found amusing.
My BP, Diablo, has the funniest little habit. He has two hides, one on the warm side and one on the cold. But, instead of going from one to the other, he contantly stays in his warm hide... but he moves it back and forth. I'll come home and that hide will be over next to the cold one, and then, an hour or two later, it's back on the warm side. He doesn't even come out of the hide to move it, just scoots it along while he's indside it. He's turning into a little turtle!
Anyway, just thought I'd share. Anyone else noticed this with their BPs?

LOL how cute! Actually we see this with Brannagh our biggest female. She'll shove her hides here and there but consistently moves her cool hide around. I can't figure it out as her hides are identical so it's not like one is more "comfy" than the other LOL. Snakes are just goofy sometimes but only Big Miz B does this hide moving thing.

Re: Just a funny story...
My big girls like to rearrange their homes, but I've never seen them move one hide completely over to the other side. That's just too funny. I love that these animals always fill me with a sense of awe and wonder. Their just too cool for school.

Re: Just a funny story...
Yes they are too cool for school! Kashmire had outgrown his warm side hide last month and I had introduced a new one (an upside down plastic bowl, dark colored and had sautered a nice hole in the top (or bottom, which became the top! LOL)). He has not used that hide in the entire time it's been in there.
Wasn't too concerned, it was a change and he needed time to get used to it. Last night went to peek in at my guy, couldn't find him anywhere. Grabbed the flashlight and peeked into the warm side hide and saw just a little bit of him. He finally decided to give it a try and decided it wasn't half bad. Now that's one that's light enough in weight that he could move if he decided to.
My heart goes pitter pat every time I look at Kashmire!
