Do ball pythons have different needs as they age?

First post in a long time!

I got my two bps in 2012 and 2013 respectively, one's 7 and one 8. I know they can live well into their 30s when well cared for.

I was wondering, as my bps age, will they have any special needs? Different health issues I should look out for?

I've never bred either, but don't want to leave that totally off the table, wondering if there is a safe age range for breeding as well.

    Thanks for your time!

I would suggest not over-feeding. And that applies to all snakes, not just BPs. Typically when snakes get older, they need to eat a bit less- smaller but lean prey & at slightly longer intervals. This will help them stay healthy as long as possible. I'll let others address breeding ages for BPs- I've only bred other kinds of snakes, not BPs.
