Picked up Ivan from jtman last Friday, and he is just beautiful. 100% het albino and just 4 months old. I had forgotten they start out this small. Too cute. Hopefully I will catch up with household stuff and post some pics soon. Thanks again Jared for selling him to me, I will take good care of him.

Nope, hatchling normal males look no different than their female counter parts in regards to color, either way is good to go!

And males vs females is usually only really a size difference, isn't it?

I don't think the size difference shows up, until they're adults/subadults. Plus there are always exceptions. Nature like to keep us on our toes.

when i was looking to buy mine... my breeder suggested i purchase a female, since it was my first snake and if i 'tire' of snake keeping females bring in a profit when they are older whereas males don't.

so i set up to buy a female but there was an error made on his end... and so i took home my original choice, original snake... dexter
