Why are they trying to make it seem like it is a good thing to breed into projects? It absolutely could have hets, and it hasn't been a wild population long enough to cull out the weak like a real wild population. Why anyone would want to purchase one as breeding stock is beyond me. It's not like there aren't plenty of CBB with a lot lower chance of disease. And for $300 no less. Good grief
People like to take chances, and new morphs pop up all the time even in CBB critters, e.g. Dave Green's & monsoon morph.
It is possible with the proper permits to catch wild burms in the Everglades and sell them out of state. Just bear in mind that being WC it may never tame down so it's not a snake for a new keeper.
