Curious about people’s experiences with your BP’s color change as they get older. I know some morphs like pastel and enchi often darken with age, but my snake has an area of scales that seem to be losing their pigment and becoming white. He’s a little over 2.5 years old, and I’ve noticed this happening over the course of probably the past 3 sheds. The photos are about a year and a half apart. The scales themselves seem smooth and undamaged, there’s no stuck shed or anything, they’re just getting white at the edges. He’s a champagne cinnamon paradox, and the lightening is happening on the edge of his paradox spot. I’m not particularly worried, just wondering if other people have seen a loss of pigmentation in their snakes too.
