New Enclosure for SD Retic
Before Christmas I decided to purchase Artemis her permanent enclosure. Still working on some design and enrichment ideas. She is around 7 ft now at almost 2 years old. She really is a treat to own.

Re: New Enclosure for SD Retic
We skipped her birthday dinner as I noticed she was going into shed (though I know she doesn't mind eating). But a couple week break is good for us both.

Artemis was looking fired up 3 days after a meal. I love how vibrant she gets a few days after feeding.

I know this is an old thread and all but I have a question regarding that enclosure. What size of enclosure is that? 4x2x2? I’m looking at getting a Karompa SD but I can’t find info on what size would be appropriate for its forever home without getting an 8ft enclosure.

Yes 4x2x2. she hasn't grown much since but I'm actually planning a future build because If it was 6x6x3 I think she would love some real tree branches at different heights to perch on.

Somehow I missed this thread before- She is a really great looking snake. I'm sure she'll enjoy more space & things to climb also.

Yep! She looks extremely healthy and picturesque coiled there. You definitely are doing her justice with your care and attention to detail. Congrats! She looks like she should be photographed for REPTILES magazine.

Reason: Additional compliments
