    Little Saku!

I decided to name my little girl Saku! It means blossom in Japanese and I felt it was very fitting.

She's coming up on a year old now and she went off feed for a little bit during the winter so she's still trying to gain weight back but otherwise she's a fantastic eater! She is just the sweetest little thing, she's so handleable and she's so good at just curling up and hanging out while I watch TV or do other things. She's very curious but she doesn't wander too far from me either when I have her out and I love that about her. I just upgraded her from a 20 gallon long to a luxurious 40 gallon with a waterfall. She's living the princess life she so deserves!

    I can't thank you enough @Albert Clark

Her name fits her beautifully- and you've done a great job on her home too. Wonderful update! Just a word of caution- don't get complacent about snakes that "never go too far" when out & about with you- when you least expect it, they play "hide & seek" much better than you'd ever suspect-

Oh yeah I definitely keep an eye on her, especially because she has been known to pee outside of her tank on multiple occasions haha.

So she's mindful about housekeeping too- her house anyway, not yours so much!

Word to the wise: when you take her out, carefully check the profile of her underside- when a snake "has to go" soon, they generally look a little "puffy" above their vent (aka cloaca), & in that case, handling caution is advised until you know the snake has relieved itself. The thing is, moving about, and especially being handled by us, usually hastens their elimination. Been there...
