Postal,
You have a beautiful BC (BCC).
I'm anxious to see some outdoor pictures.
Everybody else,,,, thank you.
This locale, if you read Vin's book, is considered to be a "natural intergrade". From my interpretation of what Vin wrote in the book, the Barranquilla locale is somewhat BCC and BCI.
I find my boy very hardy and easy to maintain. He's a bit larger than some male boas, but Gus Rentfro, Sniper's breeder, said there is no reason a non breeding, male boa can't attain close to the size of a female boa.
Long and healthy living is the key.
Depending on the species I find certain lengths optimal for handling and care. Sniper is semi large, impressive and still easy to handle and house.
He's very easy and unfortunately, every time I have him out, I want another boa, either a female version of him or a Surinam, Pokigron BCC.
Honestly, these Barranquilla boas are very easy to care for and I'd be hard pressed not to get another if I had an opportunity.
