Watching boas grow is torture to me lol, I love them all grown up but it really takes awhile to get there. They both look fantastic though. It's really pattern central at your place isn't it?

Ziggy's Crew- A Collective Progression Thread
Looooove that Argentine girl! Klauss is most certainly intense looking, no doubt. The olive looks amazing too. I was looking back at your previous post the other day and it’s really making me think I need to have a Jungle Carpet in my life...

Thanks bro! I know they’re not as visually stunning as some other snakes but I think olives are probably the most underrated big snake in the hobby. They’re just a larger, more terrestrial, carpet python IMO. Speaking of carpets, I was originally beguiled by the amazing, vibrant, selectively bred, black and yellow contrast of jungles when I set out to get my first carpet. I was waiting on Nick’s jungle clutch to get a few more meals in them when I saw Reinz’s coastals and lost my cool. I called Nick and told him to send me a coastal to hold me over until the jungle was ready to ship in another 2-3 weeks. I’ve added a few more carpet ssp since then and coastals are still my favorite. If I were to get another carpet it’d be a coastal tiger! Those things are smokin!!

Don’t get me wrong, all three of my coastal carpets are incredible and I love them to death. Each of them have distinctly different personalities and habits that are super cool to observe. But with all the subspecies of Morelia spilota I’m having a real hard time not adding some ssp diversity here. There’s a smokin ‘20 female jungle produced by Mike Curtain that’s got me on the edge of my seat right now wanting to pull the trigger lol!

Haha, that’s right, you’ve got the coastals covered, my bad! You need some jungle love brother!
I saw some of MC’s 2020 jungles and they are AMAZING! Mike’s a really good guy too.

You talking about the WOW line jungles? I saw pictures of some of the clutch and the parents recently, and I certainly concur with your opinion! The one male with the funky headstamp tempts me...
I've actually seen a lot of "that one!" carpets posted lately, which is painful. I WAS actively planning on adding a Morelia to house this season. Unexpected events forced me to bench those plans, though, and I'm just not ready to jump on a new snake right now. Hopefully good things will come to those who wait!
0.1 Sonoran Boa sigma: "Adelita" ('19 Hypo het. leopard)
1.0 Boa imperator longicauda: "Kuzco" ('19 het. anery)
0.1 West Papuan Morelia spilota: "Pandora" ('20)

Always digging this collection, and when you jumped into boas, I knew it would just add to the fun.
Great diversity and I'm really happy to see a zero failure rate with the species you've kept.
I'm satisfied with the 4 we have here, and just write the retic off as a learning experience so I'm not terribly disappointed that it didn't work out.
Looking at your collection is always refreshing and still pushes my temptation button a bit.
Happy New Year Zig.
