From all the snakes I've known over the years, I think this may well apply to other kinds too...more "social" (or at least capable of understanding) than generally given

I have seen many keepers attest that garters do better when kept in groups! Nice to see some real research on this. I believe that all animals are probably smarter than we give them credit for
