    I gotta rtb too

I went and gotr a female het for albino rtb like two weeks ago. Ill post some pics as soon as I can take pictures in this house. I think the light sux or the camera does. Ne ways, she is almost anery but has red in her tail and pink on her face. She has become my pride and joy and she's the first I handle when I get off from work or whenever.

She seems kinda skinny but she has eaten everytime I offered except when she was shedding. She's docile and curious, I just can't wait to get her a few feet long. well..peace for now

Congrats ! I just recently got a redtail, they are beautiful snakes arent they ?

Mine seems a little thin to me also,of course im comparing her to my very tubby BP's. I think that when boas are young they are more slender snakes and when they get larger ive heard they fill out and make up for thier tiny-ness

    Re: I gotta rtb too

BPs have a round-ness to them...I think it's true for all pythons. RTB's, however, don't get so round. It's almost like their backs and ribs are sort of squared off... so they don't look as fat as a BP would.
