    General care of gargoyle geckos??

Hi, I am interested in getting a Gargoyle sometime in the future and was wanting to know what your personal experience is with them. I have been reading and looking through the pangea forum but it is under maintenance at the moment. The one I'm looking at is a female at 11 grams. Current temps where she would be is between 64-66. I can get a heat bulb for an older heat lamp I have since when I was keeping ball pythons. It says it can hold up to 150 watt heat. I also have a thermostat I could put back to use. Very interested in what you guys have experienced with these beautiful animals.

Thank you for replying! How do they deal with the lower end of temps? Haven't been able to find the most out about that in particular. I'm still going to get a heating element but I'm very curious about that. I've also read that they're a bit bigger than crested geckos and use bottom and top space . Her current enclosure with the breeder is a 10 gal on it's side with a swinging door. When would she outgrow it since she's 11 grams at the moment?

i am bad at quoting enclosure sizes. as far as low temps you just won't see them as much.

Thank you for answering my questions. It's good to know if the temps do drop for whatever reason, they will be okay.
