If you have good hearing, try just listening to his breathing from as close as you can* to see if you pick up any clicking-squeaking. Alright, I'll wait a few days before feeding him. I handled him the past few days, and he was absolutely fine. I specifically listened to wheezing and clicking, because I already dealt with a minor RI before. Hopefully this is just a few bad events that make a situation look worse than it is.

one of my girls did this and she is still going strong. it was more of a bubble beard than a foamy mouth, i originally thought she was just messing around in her water, but it could have been a fart. this happened months ago and i still don't see any negative effects. in my opinion, i would say you're okay just so long as theres no RI signs. it sounds like your worried and scrutinizing the regular bp troubles ( like refusing food once or twce ) a little too hard.

Good news! I decided to feed him tonight, and he took it no problem. Hopefully this is a good sign that he is alright.

Great! It's better to be "over-concerned" than oblivious...he's probably fine, but you always want to watch & listen for health issues- it's just part of being a good
"snarent".
