    Need help with humidity levels

I’ve had my BP for a couple of months now, I’m still new to everything but I’ve learnt all the essentials, I just can’t get the humidity right at all, I’ve got a digital hygrometer but unless I mist regularly throughout the day I can’t get the right numbers, I have a glass vivarium but I’m going to switch to a wooden one as soon as I get paid at the end of the month, any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks in advance everyone and take care everyone in these rubbish times 😊

P.S. I can post a picture of my setup if anyone can tell me how to post pics

Re: Need help with humidity levels

I'd skip the wooden viv as getting one properly sealed to withstand moisture/humidity is going to be $$$ and with the unpredictability of the whole CV19 on the economy the last thing you need to do is spend money unnecessarily.

Go to your local Lowes and look for one of these:

You can move everything over from your tank and it will work fine.

I second the tub, instead of wooden. What substrate are you using? Some hold humidity better than others.

Sorry, off topic, but what's your username based on?

    I use reptichip.

Yea, that's what I thought. Reign of Darkness and The Purest Strain of Hate are favorites in my metal playlist.

I’ll have a look at that then, will try anything to get it perfect, have to ask my mrs to spray it for me whilst I’m at work, hopefully that will be the solution.

they are mint songs, definitely love the new album, shame about lee having to take a hiatus from the band, but his mental health is a lot more in important. Engineering the antichrist and immolation are my favourite songs from there older stuff.

Yes I love these guys, Alex Terrible is an incredible vocalist, have you heard his other band Russian Hate Project, that’s his own side side project, just as good if not heavier haha.

Sorry about the job, a lot of folks here are having the same problem.

This looks to be about the same size, assuming my math is right converting CM to IN. You'll have to put ventilation holes in it.
