    Ball Python Favors Cold Side

My Ball Python Leviathan seems to favor his cold side. I keep his warm side at about 92-94 and i check it once a day to make sure the mat is at the correct temperature. I use a hand held thermometer and its accurate. The cool side stays about 84-82. He eats like he supossed to and moves around like normal at night but he seems to favor the cold side. Im just wondering is that normal?

It's "normal" considering your temps are about 4* too hot on both sides. You want more like 80* & 90* max.
