Get out! No way!!!! hehehe! But me too! I think that's the only snake I'll ever own. To my eyes, nothing compares to their beauty (no offense to owners of other species, just my personal preference).

Here you can read the caresheet on bloods, balls, and redtails.

Blood Pythons

Redtail boa constrictor

Personally, I would go with the ball python. Blood pythons can be nippy and very easily stressed when they are young. Redtails are great if you can handle a 7'+ snake...females can hit 9' easily.

Welcome to the family! sorry I can't help you much, but IamKaervek has a snake named Mr. Bojangles (unless it's a female). I was wondering if there was any correlation. you can see some pics here. http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...275#post308275

Wait a week after getting a snake to hold it.

Re: when would be a good timme to
Mr. Bojangles is from a song, and it's also a restaurant chain too.
Definitely wait a week to hold your snakes. I am currently under the one week restriction with my new snakes. It really stinks, but it's best for the snakes.
