    Boa feeding question

    Hi guys!

My BCI, Tina, is 9 months old. I have been feeding her 1 hopper mouse every 10 days. I think she is of age and size though where she should switch to 1 adult mouse every 10 days.
My only problem is I have 20 frozen hopper mice still left over that I don’t want to waste if I can help it. Do you think it would be acceptable to feed her 2 hopper mice every 12 days until they’re gone or should I just toss them and switch to adult mice right now?

    thanks!

Mmmm I’m thinking that hoppers maybe too small for your Boa bit wait to see what the others say .

As regards your last point you can simply feed two or three each session ..

Yeah I think hopper mice at this point are too small as well. Good to know I can feed 2-3 until I run out though. Thanks so much!

Hopper mice, 8-11 grams, where too small five months ago. What does your snake weigh an how long is she?

As for having extra hoppers. Sell them or get another snake.

Now, if your snake will eat two in one feeding, great. If the "bump" is gone in two days stay with the ten day feeding.

    Good luck!
